National Crime Victims’ Rights Week

Join us in recognizing crime victims in our community during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. This year also marks WillowTree of Posey County’s 25th anniversary! Founded in 2000, WillowTree has provided support and resources to approximately 400 victims of domestic violence and sexual assault throughout Posey County. We have grown so much in the past few years. We now have a Safe House, making it possible for victims to have a safe place to land and stay close to their support systems. There is still so much more work to do. This year, our goal is to reach even more individuals who need a listening ear, information, and options to increase their physical safety and emotional wellbeing. We are also looking forward to getting out in community to inform, educate, and raise awareness in Posey County about these crimes and how it affects all of us.
