1200 O’Donnell Road, Mount Vernon, IN 42620

Located at Brittlebank Park, Willow Tree of Posey County has cultivated a section of the park dedicated to relaxation, reflection, and healing. Nature can offer many distractions from our everyday life. Time spent in nature can offer distraction from harrowing situations, it can reduce stress, and offer relief from anxiety.
Made possible by many donors and volunteers, The Healing Garden consists of plants, trees and shrubs that are native species to Indiana. The garden was established in April of 2021 in honor of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held in April of 2023.
We hope you will take a moment to enjoy nature’s healing benefits at our beautiful garden!
